The main objective is for a non-French speaker to acquire sufficient basic knowledge of the language to enable him or her to speak, read and write French.
Unlike a language school, SMR is aimed at adults of modest financial resources.

Knowing the language of the country in which one has chosen to settle is essential in order to be able to express oneself and perform everyday duties such as shopping, paying bills, filling out forms, getting around in public transport, finding one’s way, follow the education of one’s children, make appointments …
More importantly, mastering the language is a condition for obtaining French nationality, and constitutes a springboard towards access to employment.

The various levels of our groups follow the CECRL (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) : A1.1, A1, A2, B1, B2.
